Yeah, I'm sort of in the same predicament (all of Sherlock, many/most of Poirot). Strangely enough, I always seem to run into a Poirot I haven't seen before when I go to my local Half Price though, which is kind of funny. It's happened like three times now.

Have you seen any of the Poirot movies/episodes? Especially the ones with David Suchet? Very, very good as well. And surprisingly close to the books all things considered. And, IMO, Jeremy Brett has the best Sherlock Holmes screen portrayal.

Ah, yes. Very good indeed. We have at least one or two seasons at home and we have done a number of library watching of them as well. Quite accurate and very fun. Smile

Yes, I think Jeremy Brett is without a doubt the best. Unfortuantely, I haven't watched as much as I should like...

We have one of the collections Jeremy Brett did, and then we also have the full length feature "Hound of the Baskervilles." The question, then, is this: which of the two actors that played Watson in the Jeremy Brett movies/episodes do you like best?

Well, I've seen one Poirot and one Sherlock Holmes (the new one). I liked 'em both. Very Happy I'm not sure what I think about this Jeremy Brett fellow. . . . People with two first names are generally weird. Wink

I will have to introduce you to his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. It is, I am afraid, much more accurate than Robert Downey Jr's (fun as that was).

The odds involved in the subtitle of this message board seem rather high....but it's hard for me to say C3PO was wrong....

I take it none of you have read the subtitle to the board recently? The one on the main page, right under the title....thus...."sub-" Wink

It had nothing to do with this post... so it made no sense. I did read the sub-title... I know the reference... just doesn't make contextual sense. Almost like it should have been a new post...
